In 1959 Jim's son Dave joined the family business and in 1967, after the council placed an official purchase order on the property, we relocated to our current shop on Edleston Road. Andy (Jim's Grandson) rejoined the team in 1995 and has taken
J. E. Williams and Son from being a Raleigh cycle centre to where it is now.
Established in 1945 by James Edward Williams
we are a family run business which prides itself
on offering a friendly, approachable service for all
your cycle needs.
We stock over 20 different cycle brands and with 100s of parts suppliers we have a wide range of products for you to choose from. With nearly 120 years of cycle experience our friendly staff are
always ready to help and advise, offering the highest degree of quality and specialism. We also offer a full worskshop service and ensure that every cycle that leaves the store is set up to the highest level possible.
J. E. Williams & Son was originally located on Mill Street in Crewe and in the early days Jim would ride to Stoke-on-Trent to collect parts and accessories which he would put in the saddle bags of his bike, ride back and restock the shop on a Wednesday evening ready for opening on a Thursday morning.
Please feel free to call into our shop to browse our extensive selection of bikes, parts and accessories laid out throughout our two storey showroom!
